This is a brief hands on review on one of every photographer's ultimate tools of Nikon's flagship commercial grade 10-pin corded remote: Nikon MC-36 Multifunctional Remote. Enjoy. It's only compatible with D100 (the 10-pin socket is on MB-D100 grip ONLY), D200, D300, D300s, D700, D800, D800E, D1 / D2 / D3 / D4-Series, F5, F6, F100, N90 / F90-Series. This remote will not work on any other camera models that is not equipped with 10-pin terminal socket. Update 30 April 2011: Nikon F4 doesn't have a 10-pin terminal. The only available remote cable for F4 today is Nikon MC-12B. MC-12B is also compatible with F4-Series, N70, N2020, N2002, and N8008. F3, FM-2, and FM-3A is also compatible ONLY if equipped with MD-4 or MD-12 motordrives. Update 25 February 2012: D100 doesn't have 10-pin socket on the body itself but it's available on the optional MB-D100 grip. Music: Summertime by John Coltrane
